This year's outstanding event was held on November 29th, 2007. The Honourable Robert and Mrs. Estherelke Kaplan once again hosted this successful fundraiser.

Hebrew School Succah Hop 2007

|
|
More than 80 students had the opportunity to visit 5 succahs and see how unique each one was. The children piled on to 2 buses with moms and teachers and they all had a fabulous time!

What a phenomenal day to take a bus trip to Buffalo. The weather was spectacular, the tailgate party was delicious, the company was fantastic and Buffalo won!!

PICNIC THAT WAS SUPPOSED TO BE IN THE PARK 2007

|
Why should a little rain spoil a perfectly planned picnic in park? Everyone pitched in and managed to relocate the games, food, music and other entertainment to make this event even more special! And everyone who came out was not at all disappointed. It was a great day despite the weather.

7th Annual Latner Classic Golf Tournament
|
|
|
On May 29th we hosted our annual golf tournament at Wooden Sticks Golf Course. All of the elements were outstanding.....the weather perfect, the golfers enthusiastic, the food amazing and the raffle prizes great! And most amazing.....Rabbi Elie beat several people at their first drives. Who knew he was so talented???

FOREST HILL GALA 2007
|
|
|
On March 18th, 2007 the Temmy Latner Forest Hill Jewish Centre held its annual gala dinner at the Four Seasons Hotel. Some of the highlights of the evening were spectacular dinner courses prepared by some of Toronto's most outstanding chefs and an inspirational speech given by the world renowned Rabbi Akiva Tatz.
The gala was a huge success and a magnificent time was had by all.

PURIM 2007

And what a divine evening it was. The room looked heavenly, the food was out of this world and the entertainment ethereal. You couldn't ask for more.....

CIGAR & SCOTCH 2006

This incredible evening was hosted by Mrs Estherelke & The Honourable Robert Kaplan at their beautiful home. The attendance was amazing as were the scotch and cigars and the plentiful raffle prizes.

PURIM EXTRAVAGANZA

|
The children who came to this thoroughly entertaining concert had an amazing time. Rifky opened the show and warmed up the crowd. Zaydie Yisroel and Rabbi Elie had the kids singing and dancing. The illusionist captured the kids' attention and Loonette was a hit.

Buffalo Bills Football Fundraiser
|
|
|
This was a great way to spend a Sunday in November and support the Centre at the same time. The camaraderie was contagious, the bus rides were great fun, the prizes were spectacular, the game was great but the best time was waiting for the parking lot to empty out! Thank you to everyone who came out to this amazing day.

Hebrew School Sukka Hop 2006
|
|
|
It was a magical experience for the Temmy Latner Hebrew School students. The buses transported them to beautiful Sukkas where they noshed on chocolate fountains, pizza and lots of other goodies. The most important part was learning how to shake the Lulav and Esrog and listening to Rabbi Elie share wisdom with them.
